There’s jumps action from Huntingdon, Hereford and Punchestown on Tuesday, whilst flat fans will be focused on Leicester, Cork, Newcastle and Wolverhampton.
Before we get to the tip for today, we must discuss the big news that Enable has been retired. Whilst the news was not a huge shock, it is a sad day to lose a true icon of the flat game to the breeding sheds. She has given racing fans some amazing memories. Her achievements are of course notable, but to capture the hearts of racing fans across the world is surely her finest.
We are back very early starts on the jumps cards. However, this Novice Hurdle is well worth taking an early lunch for! The selection will come from Ben Paulings yard. Ben is a trainer I have huge respect for. He has been a tad unlucky with the likes of Barters Hill suffering an injury as well as the sad loss of Willoughby Court.
😟 Sacre bleu!
🥈 Sprinter Sacre's brother, Flinteur Sacre, too keen and made to settle for second on debut at Newbury.

In Your Darling, Ben Pauling has a very exciting novice hurdler to go to war with. I was lucky enough to see him win in the flesh on debut at Newbury at the start of the year. That day he beat a very decent yardstick in Nicky Henderson’s Flinteur Sacre who went on to score next time out at Kempton. You have to forgive the Warwick run, as the horse just wasn’t right that day. He’s had high praise from both his trainer and Henretta Knight about his jumping at home. Today we get the chance to see that in public and I expect a big run on hurdle debut here.
